9th Annual Art Studio Views — Labor Day Weekend 2016 • Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, and Germantown

This Labor Day 2016 plan on celebrating the art scene by visiting artists' studios in Northern Dutchess and Southern Columbia counties for the 9th Annual Art Studio Views, September 3-4, 2016.

27 artists in the Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, and Germantown area will be opening their studios from 11 am - 5 pm.

You are invited to the Black Feather Retreat's ANNUAL EVENT "Figure Drawing with Live Models," in beautiful Sullivan County, New York, (a little more than one hour from NYC) and spend a day with artists and art lovers.

Experience the pastoral pleasure of clean fresh air, private meadows, woods, ponds, gardens, old barns, country roads and the delightful company of others who enjoy sketching, the human form, art, reading, listening and writing.

There are many different types of activities planned for this wonderful day, beginning with a delicious brunch and continuing with a series of figure model sessions lasting until late afternoon. Music, poetry readings and performances are all part of the activities as well.

Rain or shine, the large Studio Barn (an 18th Century structure) will provide the work space and stage if it should rain. Otherwise, plan on spending your time sketching in the beautiful outdoors.
